  Orange Shirt Day

donations

The Orange Shirt Society gratefully acknowledges those donors and corporate partners who make it possible for us to do our work, fostering Indian Residential School reconciliation, raising awareness across Canada of the continuing intergenerational impacts of the schools, and of the concept of “Every Child Matters”.  Some of the activities your donations make possible include the creation and sharing of resources through this website, and the website itself.  We plan to develop and offer a grant program to help defray expenses through our speaker series as funds become available.

Donations can be made by credit card online, or by cheque and mailed to Orange Shirt Society, PO Box 4240, Williams Lake, BC V2G 2V3. We also accept e-transfer:
donations@orangeshirtday.org.

Due to CRA regulations, donations over $999.99 must be made via cheque, e-transfer or bank transfer. For more information, please contact us.

The Orange Shirt Society is a nonprofit society registered in the province of BC.  We are not a registered charity, so donations are not tax-deductible.

The Orange Shirt Society was formed in Williams Lake by the founders of Orange Shirt Day to encourage and support communities to recognize Orange Shirt Day
and to support reconciliation events and activities. Our goal is to create
awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of
Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Day activities, and to promote the concept of "Every Child Matters".
